Angenieux Type R1 35mm 2.5

This is a P. Angenieux Manual Coated 35mm 2.5 Retrofocus Type P1 For Exakta. Serial number 457151. The lens dates to about 1950. The glass has no fungus or haze, but there are some cleaning marks on the front element and minor separation. This lens produces and excellent image. The rear element is very clean. The focus and diaphragm are smooth. The focus is in feet. There are no dents and the barrel looks very nice. No brassing. Original caps and a leather case are included.
